Meet Morgan Wallen, a handsome 1 and a half-year-old husky mix who's as full of personality as his namesake! Weighing in at 40 pounds, Morgan is a fully grown boy who is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations, making him ready to embark on his next adventure – finding his forever home! Morgan has a unique skin condition called ischemic dermatopathy, which means his skin has been damaged due to reduced blood flow. While his hair may not grow back, he's already mastered the art of looking absolutely perfect, and we think he's a total heartthrob just the way he is! He’s a pro at cuddling and can often be found snuggled up against his foster mom at night. Morgan is a true goofball who brightens every day with his happy feet dance and loving nature. He gets along famously with the other dogs in his foster home, enjoying playful wrestling sessions in the yard. He's also incredibly food-motivated, making him a quick learner when it comes to new tricks, and he’s excelling at mastering the "place" command. Morgan is a social butterfly, always greeting visitors and people at events with a wagging tail. Despite his past struggles as a puppy, Morgan remains a happy-go-lucky pup with a goofy personality that is sure to bring laughter and joy to anyone he meets. He also enjoys chasing water from the hose and is a fantastic travel companion, happily sitting still and enjoying car rides.
Ideal Home
Morgan would thrive in a home with older children who can respect his boundaries. He would prefer a home without cats.
Ongoing Health
Morgan Wallen has ischemic dermatopathy, a condition that may require lifelong medication. He is currently on two daily medications.
Training & Support
Morgan is fully potty and crate trained and settles well in his crate. He can sometimes pull on the leash out of excitement and has shown occasional leash reactivity towards other dogs, which is currently being worked on.
