Charlie

Charlie is a 1.5-year-old, 85-90 pound Black Mouth Cur/Lab mix with a sweet and energetic personality. He was unfortunately at risk of euthanasia at a shelter due to overcrowding, but he's now safe and looking for his forever home. Charlie loves to play, especially fetch, and has a particular fondness for tennis balls, though he enjoys a good game of keep-away with them! He's a smart boy who knows commands like 'heel,' 'sit,' 'come,' 'stay,' 'off,' and 'nice/gentle' when taking treats. He's still working on 'down.'

Ideal Home

Charlie would do best in a home with teenage children or adults, as his enthusiasm might be overwhelming for younger children. He would thrive with an active single person, couple, or family who enjoys outdoor activities and can join him on adventures like hiking or running. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Charlie is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Charlie is crate trained and fully potty trained. He knows several commands and is eager to learn more, potentially excelling in advanced training, agility, or protection work.
