Hunter is a handsome, nearly 4-year-old yellow Lab mix with soulful eyes, a big smile, and a personality that wins people over quickly. He's a loyal, happy-go-lucky boy who wants to be by your side for all of life's adventures, whether it's playing in the backyard, going on lake trips, or just relaxing at home. Hunter is affectionate, eager to please, and already has great habits. He's kennel trained, sleeps quietly in his kennel, and keeps it clean without accidents. He enjoys the company of other dogs but hasn't been tested with cats. His farm animal, especially chickens and ducks, tend to be a bit too exciting for him. Hunter walks nicely on a leash, loves toys, and is a big fan of water. He can get excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but with continued guidance and consistency, he will thrive. Because of his enthusiastic greetings, a home without very small children may be best. Hunter is looking for a loving family to call his own and will make an incredible best friend.

All dogs are cleared by a licensed veterinarian for transport and arrive spayed/neutered with age-appropriate vaccines completed and are microchipped. Breed mix is an estimate based on observation and any known history.

Transporation
Hunter is currently in South Mississippi. Local and out-of-town adopters are welcome. For out-of-town adopters, virtual meet-and-greets are offered, and transport to many states in the Northeast is available. Transport to the city on this listing is included in the adoption fee and runs every 2-3 weeks. We cannot adopt to Rhode Island due to import restrictions.
