Zuko is a year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as his playful spirit! He's an affectionate companion who loves making friends, both human and canine. Zuko greets everyone with enthusiasm and is happiest when he's surrounded by people he loves and dogs ready to play. He's even proven to be a respectful housemate to pet rabbits! Zuko is confident, adaptable, and loves to learn, excelling in his foster home with a solid foundation of manners and training. He enjoys running, playing fetch with his squeaky ball, and snuggling up under a blanket for a good nap.
Ideal Home
Zuko would thrive in an active home that enjoys including their dog in daily adventures. Apartment living has been successful for him, provided he receives ample exercise, enrichment, and social interaction. A home without cats is preferred, as he can be overwhelming for them.
Ongoing Health
Zuko is a rescue and his breed and age are best observations. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and has been spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Zuko knows multiple commands, is house and crate trained, and enjoys learning. He can be a bit pushy during play and may need gentle reminders about respecting other dogs' boundaries. A confident, playful adult dog would be an ideal companion to help Zuko polish his social skills.

Transportation is available nationwide through our USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
