Ella is a goofy, determined, and affectionate girl who’s full of personality and heart. She absolutely lives for her toys, loves splashing in water, and never turns down a tasty treat. One of her most endearing quirks? She does a joyful little happy dance around her favorite things — it’s pure magic to watch! While Ella has had a tough start in life, she’s never lost her spark. She came to us after experiencing a medical emergency that her former family couldn’t afford to treat. She was understandably shut down at first, but with time, love, and patience, her silly and playful nature began to shine. Ella is what we lovingly call neuro-diverse. She moves through the world in her own unique way, with some behaviors that may seem a little different — like circling or moving her head in figure eights, and having a shorter attention span than most dogs. While we don’t have a formal diagnosis, it’s clear that she experiences and responds to her environment differently. That’s not a flaw — it’s just part of who she is. She’s bursting with love and zest for life — she just needs the right person or family to help her continue her journey. With the right match, she’ll be the most loyal walking buddy, couch cuddler, and source of daily smiles.
Ideal Home
Ella needs a quiet, understanding home with adults (or older, gentle kids) who are patient, respectful of her boundaries, and ready to embrace her just as she is. She may do well with the right calm, respectful canine companion.
Ongoing Health
Ella has undergone treatment for a past medical emergency. All dogs at the Ranch receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
Training & Support
Ella has a shorter attention span than most dogs and exhibits some unique behaviors due to her neuro-diversity. Patience and understanding will be key to her success.
