Betsy Blue

Meet Betsy Blue, a wiggly, talkative Catahoula Leopard Dog and Pit Bull Terrier mix with one blue eye, one brown eye, and a joyful, snorty personality. About two years old, Betsy can be hesitant with new people, but once she feels safe, she becomes deeply loving, playful, and devoted.

Betsy is active and walks beautifully on leash, checking in with sweet eye contact. She loves tossing small plush cat toys, chasing them, and entertaining herself. Treat-motivated and smart, she learns new commands within a day or so.

Ideal Home

Betsy would thrive with a patient family and a quieter home where she can decompress and build confidence. She has lived peacefully with dogs and cats, including wrestling with feline foster siblings, and dog-savvy cats are the best fit. Older children who respect her space would be a good match.

Ongoing Health

Betsy is spayed and vaccinated. Her adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, a health certificate for travel, and microchipping with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Betsy is house-trained, walks well on leash, and enjoys learning. She is treat-motivated and has lived successfully with dogs and cats. Her adoption includes a nylon Martingale collar and access to training and adopter support programs.
