Butter

Butter was dumped in the country with another female, Peanut, and 10 puppies between them. In the rural area we help, it's unfortunately common for owners to dump dogs if they don't want puppies and haven't spayed their dogs. The finder offered to foster them all, and we were able to help get them all ready for adoption. Butter has been a wonderful mom to her puppies. She has now completed her veterinary care, and she is ready to find her person.

Butter is a sweet little girl. She has a calm personality and is not a high energy dog. She likes to go for walks and is already leash trained. She is also house trained. Butter lives in a foster home with cats, kittens, small dogs and children. She is a great fit for an adoptive household with any combination of these.

Butter is 1 year old and weighs 26 pounds. We think she is a Chihuahua or Terrier mix. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
