Meet Halo, a handsome and loyal boy whose confidence is just waiting to shine! Halo was surrendered due to his owner's financial hardship. While he's been staying with his owner temporarily, it's become clear that his current environment isn't ideal for him to truly blossom. Halo thrives with calm energy, a predictable routine, and a patient human who understands the importance of consistency for anxious pups.

Recently, Halo spent a rewarding five days with one of our experienced fosters. During his stay, he showed us his true potential: he was well-behaved in the home, didn't engage in destructive behaviors, and could be left alone for short periods without issue. Halo isn't a "bad dog"; he's a wonderful dog who simply needs the right circumstances and a chance to show his true self.

Ideal Home

Halo would do best in a calm, structured environment with an experienced adopter who is patient and committed to helping him build confidence. He doesn't need a lot of chaos or constant activity. He does well with female dogs and might enjoy a calm, well-matched canine companion. We are recommending an adult-only home or one with older, calm, dog-savvy children, as he hasn't been tested with cats or younger kids.
