Maizy is approximately 3 years old and weighs 44 pounds. She is calm, gentle, affectionate, and happiest close to her people. She loves giving kisses, playing with dogs, chewing toys, curling up beside her people on soft blankets, and showing off her zoomies. Scrambled eggs are her favorite treat. She was also a devoted mother before arriving at the shelter.
Ideal Home
Maizy is friendly with cats and dogs and gentle with her small foster sister. She is also reported to be good with children. She would love a family that will cherish and spoil her while enjoying her affectionate, playful nature.
A fully and adequately fenced yard is required. Electric and underground fences are not accepted.
Ongoing Health
Maizy is fully vaccinated, spayed, and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Training & Support
Maizy is house trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Her foster has helped her grow from a frightened, trembling dog into a happy and confident girl. Foster, veterinary, and behavior assessments are provided, along with video chats to help adopters observe her manners and ensure a good fit.
