Collins is a one-year-old, 43-pound girl who perfectly embodies youthful energy and a desire for close companionship. She believes the best spot is always right next to her human, preferably with some physical contact. Collins forms deep bonds and follows her foster family like a devoted shadow, convinced that every activity is better when done as a team. She's still building confidence when left alone, but with consistent structure, patience, and medication support, she's making wonderful progress. Collins is shy with new people and appreciates slow, gentle introductions, but once she feels safe, she melts into your arms. She takes her role as a loyal sidekick very seriously.

Ideal Home

Collins would thrive in a home where someone is around more often than not and where she has a confident canine sibling. Having another dog is important for her comfort and confidence, as she learns and gains reassurance from them. She also does well with cats. She is looking for a calm, stable home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Collins is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She is currently receiving medication support to help with building confidence when left alone.

Training & Support

Collins is still building confidence when left alone, but is making great progress with structure, consistency, and medication. Her new family should be patient and understanding, committed to continuing her journey and cheering her on.
