Ideal Home

Viktor is friendly with dogs and would enjoy living with a compatible female dog, though he can also thrive as the only dog with plenty of exercise, enrichment, companionship, and attention. He is gentle and comfortable with children of all ages and friendly with new people. Viktor needs a cat-free home because cats can activate his hound prey drive. A fenced yard would be wonderful, but an active family without one can also keep his curious mind engaged.

He can manage short periods alone, enjoys being loose more than crated, and may be nervous during storms. Patient reassurance and positive reinforcement can help him feel secure.
