Solei

Solei is a beautiful and sensitive girl with lovely white fur and tan spots. She was born with slightly deformed back feet, which causes her to limp on gravel surfaces, but she navigates most hard surfaces with ease. We've noted her as having special needs to find a loving adopter who understands that "less than perfect" can be absolutely wonderful. Solei is affectionate and playful with people and dogs she knows well. However, she can be a bit wary of strangers peering into her kennel, sometimes standing back and barking, which has sadly deterred potential adopters. She arrived at the shelter as a stray in early February 2023, around 6 months old.

Ideal Home

Solei would likely do best in a home where she can build trust with new people at her own pace. A quieter environment where she isn't overwhelmed by constant new faces might be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Solei has slightly deformed back feet, which affects her gait on rough surfaces but doesn't stop her from getting around well on harder ground. She is vaccinated, heartworm negative, and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Solei can be shy and bark at strangers in her kennel. Building her confidence with new people will be key, and she'll need a patient adopter to help her overcome her initial wariness.
