Lola

Lola is a sweet girl who has spent more than half her life in a shelter. Imagine how that can affect a dog's attitude and demeanor! We're not entirely sure why Lola wasn't chosen early on, but as she continued to be passed over, she started to pick up habits and feed off the high energy of the dogs around her. This is a common occurrence in kennels, as it's a high-stress environment and some dogs just can't shake it off. Lola does best outside in the sun, on walks while decompressing, and in a low-key environment. She has been known to really enjoy dogs her size or smaller, but absolutely no cats.

Ideal Home

Lola would thrive in a calm and quiet home where she can decompress and feel safe. She should be the only pet in the home, as she does not do well with cats. Due to her unpredictable nature, especially when first learning to trust, a home without children is best for this girl.

Ongoing Health

Lola is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lola can be unpredictable, especially early on in trusting someone, so patience and continued training will be key to her success. She has been known to bond with many people, both men and women, though she does tend to prefer women. However, a man winning her over is not an impossible situation. A dog who can bond with more than one human and do well under guidance is an adoptable dog, and Lola is ready for that journey.
