Nim

Nim is an approximately 6-year-old Bull Terrier with a beautiful white, black, and tan coat, ready to find her forever family. She's described as one of the most loyal dogs, a true companion who bonds deeply with her people. Nim was a "Covid pup" and wasn't socialized with the outside world, so she's not a fan of going out in public. Her greatest joys are exploring wooded trails or simply relaxing at home with her loved ones. While she doesn't seek canine companionship, she is amazing with children and will happily guard her home. She is a dominant female who thrives when she's the only animal in the household. Nim loves to cuddle, give kisses, and genuinely wants to please. She's a good sport with baths and nail trims, and the person who has cared for her trusts her implicitly, even with medical care after she's injured herself. She can be a bit wary of strangers and prefers them to give her space, with no touch, talk, or eye contact until she's comfortable.

Ideal Home

Nim would thrive in a home where she is the only animal, as she doesn't get along with other dogs or small animals. She is looking for a dog-knowledgeable woman who desires a solo companion and perhaps an alert dog.

Ongoing Health

Nim has no known allergies and can eat most foods, though she is fed quality food. She has no history of ear infections or yeast issues. She will receive proper vaccinations, deworming, and vet checks before going to her new home.

Training & Support

Nim knows basic commands like "come," "stay," "down," and "stand," and has excellent off-leash recall with her current caregiver. However, she may not listen if she doesn't respect you. She needs about 15 minutes of good exercise daily. She can be crated when left alone, but sometimes listens well when left out. She will bark when she wants dinner or if she's bored.
