They named me Magic. Maybe it's because the best things take a little time to believe in. I'm a young, female Black Labrador Retriever mix who is currently in Georgia, but my bags are packed and I'm ready to travel to the family I've been dreaming about. I won't be the dog who runs into your arms on day one; new people still make me nervous. I like to watch first, listen first, and make sure I'm safe. But here's the beautiful part: every single day, I get a little braver. The people caring for me have watched me grow from hiding away to staying close when they come to visit. If you speak softly, I'll look at you. If you're patient, I'll lean in. Those tiny moments may not seem like much, but for me, they're everything. I love my crate because it feels safe, and I thrive on routine. Once I know what to expect, I can finally relax and let my personality shine. I don't need someone to "fix" me; I just need someone who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. One day, you'll realize I'm following you from room to room, leaning against your leg, and looking at you like you're my whole world. That's the kind of love I give: quiet, honest, and forever.
