Bullseye is a gentle, thoughtful Retriever/Pit Bull mix puppy with a calm spirit and a soft heart. He loves cuddles, belly rubs, dinnertime, and romping with his siblings. As the biggest and most introverted pup in his litter, he often observes quietly before joining the fun, then happily settles beside his favorite people.
He was rescued with his mother and six littermates from a rural dumping area outside Houston and is being fostered in Houston, Texas. Bullseye is ready to grow into a loyal, well-balanced companion with a family committed to his continued development.
Ideal Home
- A family prepared to provide patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, socialization, exercise, enrichment, and continued leash practice.
- He enjoys other dogs and has done well around children. He has not yet been tested with cats.
- A friendly, well-mannered resident dog is preferred as a canine role model. Homes without another dog should have a plan for safe, positive socialization.
- Because he is still young, a home where someone is not routinely away for more than four to six hours at a time is preferred.
