Banjo

Banjo is a sweet Boxer mix who came to us in February 2024 when his owner was arrested and he had nowhere else to go. Sadly, his owner never returned. Banjo was a little shy when he first arrived and was still learning the ropes, but he's come a long way! He's mastered "sit" and is very much in tune with our daily shelter routine. He's a bouncy boy who loves kids and is always ready for an adventure. Banjo needs an active home where he can explore and burn off some of that puppy energy.

Ideal Home

Banjo loves children and is eager for adventure! He does not get along with male dogs or cats, and it's recommended that he be the only dog in the home. He can be prey-driven, so an owner who understands this and can manage it appropriately is essential. He thrives with structure.

Ongoing Health

Banjo is neutered and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Banjo has shown a willingness to learn and has already mastered "sit." He may need continued training and time to adjust to a new home, but with commitment, he'll be an amazing companion.
