Violet Mae

Violet Mae is a 2-year-old, 42-pound smaller-standard Black Tri Australian Shepherd looking for her forever family. She lost her previous home through no fault of her own and is adjusting to life with new people, but has lots of potential to become someone's best friend.

She enjoys carrying toys, playing, and especially running. She has been doing well with three Australian Shepherds in her foster home.

Ideal Home

An active home with another dog of similar size and energy will be important for Violet Mae to thrive. A fenced backyard is also important. Adopters must have pets that are fixed, vaccinated, and receiving heartworm prevention.

Ongoing Health

Violet Mae is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and on preventatives. Her heartworm test was negative.

Training & Support

She is crate trained and house trained, and has learned to use a dog door. She can walk on a leash but needs continued work on her leash skills.
