Sphinx is a striking young Doberman / German Shepherd mix with a glossy black coat, alert ears, and the kind of soulful eyes that make you stop in your tracks. Born June 2024, she is about 50 pounds and still filling out into her beautiful, athletic frame. Sphinx has a confident yet thoughtful personality. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is deeply loving and devoted. She is kind, gentle, and has a quiet nobility about her. With her people, she is affectionate without being overwhelming and thrives on steady, consistent connection.

Sphinx would do best in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and explore.

Sphinx is in good health and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Sphinx will need continued guidance with potty training, crate training, and leash work, but she is very responsive, eager to please, and learns quickly with patience and consistency. She does beautifully with gentle, positive training and would thrive with an adopter who values structure and leadership without harshness.

Transporation

Sphinx is currently in foster care in Texas and will be transported to her approved adoptive family. We have transports departing each week.
