A little about them
Rusty is a 2-year-old, 50 lb Cattle Dog mix with a gentle soul, a playful side, and so much potential. He can be shy in new situations, but with patience and positive reinforcement, he is steadily becoming more confident and trusting.
Rusty loves playing with other dogs and would especially enjoy a confident canine companion to show him the ropes. He enjoys puzzle toys, chew toys, chicken treats, and the occasional Squishmallow. Once he trusts you, his goofy, loving personality shines through.
Ideal Home
Rusty would thrive in an active, patient home that understands shy dogs and gives him time to settle in. He does well with dogs and cats and would do best with older, dog-savvy children who can go slowly while he warms up. A confident dog friend would be especially welcome.
Ongoing Health
Rusty is vaccinated and neutered. No medical conditions were reported.

Rusty walks nicely on leash and has made great progress with crate and potty training. He is smart, eager to learn, and responds well to patience and positive reinforcement.
