JJ bonds quickly with men and thrives with calm, confident leadership and structure. He is smart, calm, tuned in, gentle-lead trained, comes when called, knows a solid set of commands, and enjoys joining his person on everyday adventures. He is currently fostered with a couple, a large male Lab, and a playful small dog.
Ideal Home
- Best suited for an adult home or one with calm older teens.
- A cat-free home is ideal because JJ has prey drive.
- JJ can be a one-man, one-dog companion or live happily with compatible dogs.
- He is affectionate, steady, respectful of space, non-destructive, and does not resource guard.

JJ's adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, microchipping with free lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.

JJ is fully potty trained and crate trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and can free-roam responsibly. He is gentle-lead trained, comes when called, and already knows a solid set of commands.
