River

River is a happy, loving Bluetick Coonhound and Great Dane mix who came to the shelter as a stray after running loose for several days. She is energetic, strong, loyal, and loves giving hugs.

Ideal Home

River needs a secure environment, plenty of exercise, and a home willing to provide training and socialization. She would currently do best as the only pet and in a home without little kids due to her size and clumsy nature.

River has been vet checked, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

River needs basic training. Her hound instincts mean she can be stubborn, fun-loving, and guided by scents, while her energetic nature makes regular exercise important.
