Petra is a brave, loving survivor who has blossomed into a joyful, curious dog. She enjoys walks, outdoor adventures, toys, bones, cozy resting spots, other dogs, and—most of all—breakfast time. Petra is gentle, smart, playful, and gaining confidence in foster care.

Ideal Home

Petra would thrive in a quiet, patient home with a calm routine and someone who understands that trust takes time. She would do best without small children, as loud environments can be overwhelming. She enjoys the companionship of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Petra was rescued at 8 pounds after surviving on the streets of St. Lucia and has a few scars from her early life. She has since made the journey to the United States and is now in foster care.

Training & Support

Petra is house-trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and has learned her routines beautifully. She is learning to trust people and enjoy companionship, play, walks, and outdoor adventures.
