ARTEMIS (Artie)

Artemis, affectionately known as Artie, is a vivacious, fun-loving, and affectionate young lady who deserves a forever home. Due to a genetic condition, Artie was born with a very small urethra, which means she experiences occasional urine leakage. While we try to avoid frequent diapering to prevent urinary tract infections, diapers are an option. Our home is all tile, making cleanup manageable, and Artie also loves spending time outdoors, especially in cooler weather. A privacy shave or trim of her coat can also help manage her condition. We know it takes a special person to open their heart and home to a pet with special needs, but Artie's loving spirit makes her worth it. She deserves more than we can offer her here, and we are committed to finding her the perfect match.

A home that can accommodate her medical needs with understanding and patience. She loves to play outside, especially in cooler weather.

Ongoing Health

Artie has a genetic condition affecting her urethra, resulting in occasional urine leakage. This condition cannot be surgically corrected.

Training & Support

While house-trained, Artie may require management for her urinary leakage, such as the use of diapers. Regular cleaning and a trimmed coat can also be helpful.
