Artemis (Artie) is a vivacious, fun, loving Siberian Husky looking for a very special forever home. She has a genetic condition involving an almost nonexistent 3 mm urethra, which causes regular urine leakage, but she enjoys spending time outside and playing—especially during cooler months.

Ongoing Health

Artie has had tests and a scope of her ureters and female areas. Her condition cannot be surgically corrected. Her caregivers try to avoid diapers to help prevent urinary tract infections, though diapers are possible. A privacy shave or trim around her withers can help manage her longer coat.

Training & Support

Artie is listed as house-trained and gets plenty of enjoyment from outdoor play. Her caregivers have tile flooring and clean frequently to manage her urinary leakage.
