Meet Barry White, an affectionate 8-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix with a goofy, playful side and a serious talent for cuddling. Barry loves people, leaning against them, climbing into laps, and giving kisses. After playtime with toys, zoomies, or dog friends, he is happy to settle in for a cozy evening.
Ideal Home
Barry gets along well with other dogs after a little time to warm up and could live with a friendly dog or be the center of attention. He met a kitty respectfully and may do well with proper introductions and a dog-savvy cat. He has been loving, gentle, and respectful with teenagers.
Ongoing Health
Barry’s $1,000 adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel. Breed identification is based on appearance and behavior and is not guaranteed without DNA testing.
Training & Support
Barry is house-trained and food-motivated. He is still learning to walk politely on leash and will benefit from continued confidence-building and training. The rescue provides behavioral assessments, individualized behavior plans, training support, and socialization opportunities.
