Ivy

Meet Ivy, a sweet and playful girl born on March 11, 2025. Ivy was originally adopted from a local shelter but sadly had to be rehomed through no fault of her own. She has been a true joy in her foster home and is now searching for her loving forever family. Ivy's absolute favorite thing is playing fetch – a tennis ball will instantly make her your best friend! She also loves her toys, going for walks, and spending quality time with her people.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in an active family that enjoys playing and including her in everyday life. She adores children and gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Ivy is a smart girl who already knows commands like sit, lay down, come, no, go potty, and go to your kennel. She is also potty trained and crate trained and does well with a routine. Ivy can be a little shy around men when she first meets them, barking and scooting backward. She needs a little extra time, patience, kindness, and treats to feel safe and warm up. She is very food motivated and loves watermelon, cucumbers, apples, ice cubes, and just about any treat!

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her $600 adoption fee includes transport.
