Velvet (The Koala Litter)

Velvet is one of the Koala Litter, a sweet and playful Husky/German Shepherd mix puppy born May 31, 2026. After being dumped by a neighbor, she was welcomed into rescue and is thriving in foster care in Conroe, Texas. She is social, curious, athletic, eager to learn, and ready for a loving family.

Ideal Home

Velvet would thrive with a family committed to love, training, exercise, and enrichment. A home with a yard is required; apartments are not accepted. She could become a loyal companion, hiking or running buddy, adventure dog, or future training or sport prospect.

Ongoing Health

Velvet is vaccinated and not yet spayed or neutered.

Training & Support

Velvet is crate trained and working hard on her house training. She is intelligent, curious, and eager to learn.

Application Details

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
• Applications start by contacting the provider through Wags.
• The adoption contribution is $450 and is tax-deductible through the 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue.
• The process includes an application, group text with the foster or rescuer, a virtual home visit and meet-and-greet if available, reference checks, board approval, an adoption contract, and final adoption details.

Transportation

Transport is arranged after adoption, and the adoption contribution covers the cost of transport. Adopters may also arrange their own transport without changing the adoption contribution. Donations toward transport expenses or rescue support are appreciated.
