Poblano

Meet Poblano, a sweet and distinguished senior Shepherd mix looking for a cozy forever home. He is a loyal, affectionate companion who loves human attention, brushing, and gentle backside pats. As a total shadow, he will happily follow you from room to room.

Poblano gets along wonderfully with other dogs and thrives with a gentle pack. He tolerates Texas heat, but his lush Shepherd coat would be especially comfortable in a cooler northern environment.

Ideal Home

Poblano would love a home that can offer affection, companionship, and continued understanding and training. He may do well with other gentle dogs.

Ongoing Health

Poblano’s adoption includes DAPP, Bordetella, and rabies vaccines, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, spay/neuter, microchipping, and a collar.

Training & Support

The rescue provides behavioral and medical care, social enrichment, playgroups, one-on-one bonding time, leash-training work, and basic-command training. Continued training and patience are encouraged for rescue dogs.
