Apricot

Meet Apricot, a sweet, affectionate, 73-pound girl who loves being by your side. She enjoys couch cuddles, cozy blankets, sunny spots, and belly rubs, and she even charmed everyone during a television news appearance.

Apricot is gentle and mellow. Though initially shy, she warms up quickly and is learning to settle into a routine. She can be startled by sudden loud noises and would appreciate a quiet, patient home. She does not enjoy being alone and would love a family that can spend plenty of time with her.

Ideal Home

Apricot has been gentle and dainty around other dogs, mostly hanging out during play group. Her compatibility with cats and children is unknown, so introductions should be handled through a meet and greet.

Ongoing Health

Apricot is recovering from heartworm treatment and needs continued rest and relaxation before gradually returning to normal activities. Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a license.

Training & Support

Apricot is housebroken, with just one accident while settling into her foster home. She is mild-mannered and polite with people.

• A meet must be scheduled in advance; walk-ins are not currently accepted.
• If you have children or another dog, they must attend the meet and greet.
• Dogs adopted directly from the kennel should visit a personal veterinarian within two weeks.
