Danny Boy

Danny Boy is a handsome, fluffy Lhasapoo mix who came to us as a stray, running loose for weeks. He was trapped and brought into our care, where he's been making incredible strides. He's a young boy, around one year old and weighing about 15 lbs. Once fearful and semi-feral, Danny Boy is learning to trust and enjoy the good life. He's not quite a cuddler yet, but he loves to lounge and has recently discovered the joy of playing with toys!

Ideal Home

Danny Boy would do best in an adult-only home with a fenced yard. He needs a patient adopter who has experience with fearful or semi-feral dogs and is committed to helping him build trust. He would be happiest as an only dog, or possibly with a calm female dog, to truly bond with his human.

Ongoing Health

Danny Boy is fully vetted and up-to-date on vaccinations and a heartworm test. He is awaiting his neuter appointment.

Training & Support

Danny Boy is now house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He is great with other dogs and has even been able to be groomed without a muzzle. He will require continued patience and positive reinforcement to fully blossom into a confident companion.

Danny Boy is currently located at our rescue. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
