Kai

Meet Kai, a 4-year-old spayed shepherd mix who weighs 47 pounds and has a heart full of joy and energy. Kai is a social butterfly who loves making friends with dogs of all sizes and people of all ages. She's always up for a game of fetch or a good zoomie session, often accompanied by happy barks of excitement! When she's not playing, Kai enjoys entertaining herself with toys. She's also a big fan of cuddles and belly rubs after a good play session.

Kai would be a perfect companion for an active household that can keep up with her playful spirit. She has done wonderfully with children and thrives on their affection.

Ongoing Health

Kai is generally healthy and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Kai is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, though she may pull slightly on the leash when she sees other dogs due to her excitement to meet them. She can be a little nervous during loud noises or storms, but with love and reassurance, she settles well. It's always recommended to crate any new dog until they've had time to acclimate to a new environment.

Kai is currently being fostered in San Antonio, Texas. Our rescue can arrange transport out of state once she's matched with an approved adopter.
