Frito

Meet Frito, a resilient and joyful tripod with an enormous heart. After being hit by a car and suffering a severe leg injury that required amputation, he adapted wonderfully to life on three legs. He runs, plays, explores, and zooms around the yard with enthusiasm.

Frito is affectionate, playful, gentle, and easygoing. He loves being close to his people, leaning in for pets, and soaking up attention. He is ready for a forever family who will love him for the incredible dog he is.

Ideal Home

Frito is reported to do well with cats, dogs, and children under eight.

Ongoing Health

Frito has an amputated leg following a severe leg injury caused by being hit by a car. He has adjusted well to life as a tripod.
