Penny Bun Mushroom is an approximately seven-month-old pup who is as sweet and sunshiney as can be. She's a suspected Pit Bull/German Shepherd mix, and whatever her heritage, she's sure to bring joy and support to her new family. Penny Bun is affectionate from the start and loves to check in with her people, showing off impressive leash manners for her age. She has a special obsession with stuffed toys, carrying them around like cherished companions. She's social and respectful with other dogs, even showing good recovery skills when play gets a bit overwhelming. Penny Bun also had a positive initial meeting with a cat, and her gentle nature makes her a potential candidate for a home with children. With her balanced energy level, calm demeanor indoors, and quiet personality, she might even do well in an apartment with proper enrichment. Penny Bun feels like the main character in a heartwarming children's movie, a perfect companion to grow alongside your family.

Penny Bun has demonstrated good leash manners and shows attentiveness. She is comfortable with crate training and potty training is in progress.

Penny Bun is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
