Hi there, my name is Patty! I'm a sweet, curious, and energetic puppy who's looking for someone to share long walks, cuddles, and adventures with. I might be a little shy and timid when we first meet, but that's just because I'm unsure of new things. Give me a moment, and I'll warm up quickly! My foster mom loves my adorable heart-shaped nose and my short, little tail. While I'm missing a part of my tail, I promise I'm not missing any personality! I originally came from Texas, and now that I'm in a cooler climate, I absolutely love snuggling up in a warm blanket next to my favorite people. I sleep quietly in my kennel at night and I'm doing so well with potty training, especially with frequent breaks outside. I'll need a patient person to continue teaching me good manners, like polite leash walking. I'm very treat-motivated and eager to please, so with a little guidance, I know I can learn! As a puppy, I adore playing with toys, especially chew bones. My foster mom throws balls for me, but I'm still working on the whole "fetch" concept. I'm also still learning not to jump up when I'm excited to greet people, but I'm getting better every day! I've met people of all ages, including children, and I love everyone! I do get a little scared of cats initially, but the one I met here seems to like me, so I think we could be friends. I've also met some bigger dogs, and I learn a lot from them. I know when they're done playing and I'll go find my toys. I love running and chasing them around the yard, and they seem to enjoy my company too. I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am. In return for your patience and love, I'll shower you with kisses, affection, and endless laughs! Someone who can see past my timidness and is willing to teach me manners. I love to cuddle, go on walks, and I get along well with people of all ages, including children. I also seem to do well with other dogs.
