A little about them
Skye Blue is a beautiful Husky mix with icy blue eyes, silly energy, and serious snuggle skills. She may zoom around one minute and curl up in your lap for belly rubs the next. She can be shy with new people at first, but with patience, treats, ear scratches, and quality time, she becomes a loving, devoted companion.
Skye is approximately 2 years old and weighs 42 pounds. As a rescue, her breed and age cannot be guaranteed.
Ideal Home
Skye is very friendly with other dogs and respectfully matches different play styles and energy levels. She enjoys chase and can also be happy as your one-and-only dog. She would do best in a home without cats.
She enjoys the outdoors, exploring, and adventures, and rides well in the car for at least an hour and a half. A semi-active family with a fenced-in backyard and room for her to stretch her legs would be a great match. She thrives with structure, routine, and consistency and is affectionate while still maintaining her independence.
Ongoing Health
Skye's adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, deworming treatments, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Skye knows how to sit, walks well on leash, and is crate trained and potty trained. She is smart, eager to please, and motivated by treats. The rescue provides behavioral assessments, individualized behavior support, and access to training resources for adopters.
