A little about them

Journey is a sweet, handsome black-and-white Husky who survived being dumped during a hurricane in Houston and was rescued after swimming to shore. He has since discovered how wonderful home life can be and is ready for a forever family.

Ideal Home

Journey plays well with medium and large female dogs and most medium and large male dogs, though he does not get along with one particular red Husky. He would do well with school-aged children, a couple, or a single person who will include him in daily life and adventures.

He needs a securely fenced yard and is not suited for tie-outs, electric fencing, or ideally apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Journey is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. He is maintained on monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Journey knows basic commands but is not off-leash trained. He loves the water and rides calmly in the car.
