Ziggy

Ziggy is a sweet, sassy, snuggly 8-year-old Chihuahua who loves her people, short walks, yard playtime, and cuddling under a blanket. She enjoys playing with smaller dogs and can live with a large, calm dog, though she likes to be the boss. She is not good with cats and has calmly enjoyed gentle interaction with children.

Ideal Home

Ziggy would love a home where she can be the queen bee. She has low to medium energy, enjoys short morning and afternoon walks, and is happiest relaxing with her person. She is affectionate, frequently calm and quiet, and may bark when meeting new people or while her meal is being prepared.

Ongoing Health

Ziggy has a heart murmur, heart valve regurgitation, and arthritis. She takes heart medicine twice daily and arthritis pain medicine once daily, mixed into her food, which she eats readily.

Training & Support

Ziggy knows “sit,” walks well on a leash, is potty trained, does not need to be crated, and rides comfortably in a car.
