Stella

Meet Stella, a gentle, sweet, soft-natured 5-year-old Basenji mix weighing 25 pounds. She enjoys playing with toys, retrieving balls, spending time with her foster siblings, and relaxing near people she trusts. Stella is affectionate in a quiet, cat-like way and may softly place a paw on you when she wants attention.

Stella can be shy with new people and may need time to feel safe. Car rides and leash walks can be overwhelming, but she gains confidence when accompanied by another dog. She would thrive in a calm home with a fenced yard and may benefit from a friendly canine companion.

• A ride on the next available transport to her new family's area is included in the adoption fee. Transport is available to Hartford, CT, and other areas where transport is offered.
