Zeus

Zeus is a gentle, affectionate 80-pound Bully mix who is ready for a loving forever home. After losing his family and spending months in a local shelter, he joined Lucky Paws in June 2025 and has remained a sweet, easygoing companion.

He enjoys lounging in air conditioning, spending time in the yard, walking nicely on leash, and riding calmly in the car. Zeus is friendly with dogs and children, handled crowds and other animals well at a local festival, and keeps a neat, quiet kennel. He is ready to be adopted and welcomed as a cherished family member.

Ideal Home

Zeus would thrive with a family who will provide a loving home and a comfortable place to relax. He gets along well with other dogs and children and enjoys car rides, yard time, and plenty of couch time.

Ongoing Health

Zeus is heartworm positive and is doing well on a slow-kill treatment protocol. A minor lump was removed from his back foot, and he has healed well. He is neutered, vaccinated against Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella, dewormed, microchipped, and receiving flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

A health certificate, veterinary exam, and fecal test will be completed less than 10 days before transport.

Training & Support

Zeus walks nicely on leash, rides peacefully in the car, and has friendly, calm house manners. His rescue stands by him for life; if the match is not right, he can return to the rescue's care in Oklahoma on the next available transport.

Application Details

• Adoption fee: $700, including vetting and transport costs.
