Louise, affectionately called Louie, is an 8-pound blonde merle Dachshund mix with gorgeous blue eyes, tiny legs, and a huge personality. Born in January 2026, she is expected to remain small and is currently fostered in Texas.

Louie is playful, brave, curious, athletic, and independent. She loves toys, sticks, zoomies, digging, and playing chase with dogs of all sizes. She enjoys exploring on her own but also has a sweet affectionate side, happily curling up for cuddles, kisses, and attention after playtime.

Ideal Home

Louie would love a home with another playful dog who enjoys running and playing chase. Her rescue recommends homes with children 10 years and over.
