Meet Velvet, a shy and friendly mixed Black Labrador Retriever who was rescued as a puppy from a place where dogs are often abandoned. She has been waiting for her forever home for a couple of years and is hoping for a patient family.

Ideal Home

• Velvet can get along with other dogs, though she is selective.
• She does not like cats.
• She needs a patient home willing to help her feel comfortable.

Training & Support

• Velvet is not house-trained, so she will need patient housetraining support.
