Meet Daisy!
This energetic and curious 8-week-old Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler mix is ready to explore the world with her new family! Daisy has a big personality packed into her 8lb frame and is estimated to weigh 40-50lbs when fully grown. She's the first to investigate new sights, smells, and toys, but when playtime is over, she loves to cuddle. Daisy is already showing off her herding instincts, keeping a close eye on her "herd" in an adorable and hilarious way. She's smart, confident, and affectionate, and looking for a family to help channel her enthusiasm into adventures, training, and a lifetime of love. She does well with cats, kids, and other dogs! Daisy is currently working on her potty and crate training. She and her littermates were surrendered to a kill shelter in Louisiana with their mom, and we're so glad they're now safe.

Ongoing Health
Daisy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and a required spay when age-appropriate.
Training & Support
Daisy is working on her potty and crate training. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog's age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership.

- We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.
- We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call.
Transporation
Daisy is being fostered in Prince George, VA. Adopters must be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.
