Lucas

Lucas is a sweet young adult Great Pyrenees who may be timid at first, but warms up into an incredibly loving companion who thrives on praise. He often offers a gentle “Pyr Paw” to ask for extra affection. Lucas enjoys playing with other dogs, chewing bones, and relaxing on the couch or his outdoor dog bed. He adapts quickly to household routines, uses a dog door easily, alerts to strangers without excessive barking, and tolerates grooming well. His low-maintenance coat is easy to care for.

Ideal Home

Lucas would be a wonderful companion for a person or family. He enjoys other dogs and is reported to do well with cats and children under eight. An adopter must provide visible fencing.

Ongoing Health

His $350 adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.
