Meet Lyric! This sweet 2-year-old retriever mix is a true survivor, having made her way to us all the way from Kuwait! Lyric spent her early life as a street dog in western Asia until our rescue partners stepped in and arranged her flight to a better life. She's been with us for several months now and is eagerly awaiting her forever family. Lyric is a friendly and happy girl who adores other dogs. She can be a bit shy initially, but with some gentle encouragement and tasty treats, her wonderful personality truly shines! She's currently working on her household manners and leash skills, learning all she can while in our care. Lyric is athletic and enthusiastic, making her an ideal companion for adventures and family fun. She also has a special love for water and her adoption fee has been reduced! This girl is ready to win your heart and start her best life.

Ideal Home

Lyric is looking for a home where she can continue to blossom. She loves other dogs and would likely do well in a home with canine companions.

Lyric is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lyric is working on household manners and leash skills. She may be shy at first but warms up with love and treats.

• We are located in South Carolina and transport to the northeast weekly.
• Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet.
• We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.

Lyric is currently located in Howell, NJ. Transport to the northeast is available weekly.
