A little about them

Dozer is a 7-year-old, 60-pound, toothless lap dog dreaming of a couch to call his own. He loves toys, car rides, relaxing with his people, and living life at his own pace. Despite his size, he is convinced he belongs in your lap!

Dozer is looking for a forever foster home where he can be loved like family while Handover Rover continues to cover his food, medical care, and other lifelong needs.

Ideal Home

Dozer does great with larger dogs but needs a home without cats. His ideal home will provide a comfortable couch, toys, car rides, and plenty of love.

Ongoing Health

Dozer has Wobbler syndrome, a neurological condition involving compression of the spinal cord in the neck. He experiences some wobbliness and occasional knuckling, and his neck remains fixed following surgery many years ago. His mobility is somewhat limited, but he still gets around well and is not currently in pain.

Training & Support

Dozer is house-trained. His forever foster should keep Handover Rover informed about his Wobbler syndrome and report any changes or progression so they can coordinate with his veterinary team. Handover Rover remains financially responsible for his needs.
