Hi, I'm Coco, and I'm an American Bulldog mix with the sweetest, gentlest heart. I might be a little shy and need some time to feel safe, but once I trust you, I become the most loving, loyal companion. You'll find me right by your side all day, except when I'm enjoying one of my many naps! My past has been a bit rough, so I can be sensitive to new people and sudden movements. I might flinch sometimes, especially with head pats, but I absolutely adore gentle chin scratches and soft affection. With patience and kindness, I blossom into the most wonderful friend. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and very well-behaved in the home. All I really want is a calm, quiet environment where I can feel safe and loved, and to be near my person so I can finally relax.
Ideal Home
I would thrive in a quiet household with 1-3 people, and I need a fenced yard to help me feel secure. I need a home where I can take things slow and continue building my confidence. I'd do best as the only pet, so I can focus on bonding with my person without feeling overwhelmed. I must live in your home as part of your family.
Ongoing Health
All of our companions are up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heartworm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption.
Training & Support
I am crate trained and potty trained, and I'm very well-behaved in the home.
