Hera

Meet Hera! She's a sweet and smart adult female German Shepherd mix. Hera and her sister Juno arrived at our rescue after a difficult hoarding and cruelty situation. Initially very nervous and shut down, both pups have slowly blossomed and shown their incredibly friendly sides. Hera is a sensitive soul who will need a patient adopter who understands her need to go at her own pace. With time and gentle guidance, she's sure to become a deeply loving and affectionate companion. In true German Shepherd fashion, Hera has a busy mind that can sometimes lead to overthinking, but with positive direction, her intelligence shines through. She absolutely adores toys and will often offer a happy wag to her favorite humans!

Ideal Home

Hera needs a patient adopter who will allow her to adjust to her new surroundings and people at her own speed.

Hera is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Hera is house-trained. She is a smart girl who would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training to help her navigate her busy mind.
