Prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff! Maximilian looks like a cross between a teddy bear and a baby polar bear, with giant fluffy paws and cloud-like fur. He's the kind of puppy that makes people instinctively want to scoop him up for cuddles. He is approximately 2 months old and weighs around 10 lbs. We believe he may be a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, but with rescue, breed is always a mystery. Maximilian is playful, incredibly sweet, loves toys, and is happiest when he's having fun or soaking up affection. His foster family is helping him discover the world through play, naps, and gentle socialization.
Ideal Home
Maximilian will need a family that's ready for all the joys and challenges of puppyhood, including continued socialization, training, structure, consistency, and lots of positive experiences.
Ongoing Health
Maximilian is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been heartworm tested.
Training & Support
We require adopters to begin crate training as soon as their puppy arrives home to help with potty training, independence, energy management, and building healthy habits. Our on-site trainers work with all our dogs on behaviors such as crate training, potty training, and leash walking.
