Winston Newton Perfectly Puppy

Meet Winston, a three-month-old Terrier mix with warm caramel-colored fur, floppy ears, sweet dark eyes, and an adorable white beard. This playful, social puppy loves running, toys, tug, wrestling with dog friends, and cuddling with his people.

Winston has met a cat and did wonderfully. Because he is an energetic puppy, a canine playmate would be ideal in a home with a cat. He could thrive in an apartment with plenty of exercise, enrichment, and playtime, while a yard would be a wonderful bonus.

Ideal Home

Winston is affectionate, curious, playful, and very social with dogs. He would love a family who will let him play, learn, explore, and be a devoted companion.

Ongoing Health

Winston’s adoption fee includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, rabies vaccination, deworming, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm testing and treatment if needed, spay/neuter, a microchip with lifetime registration, and a health certificate for travel.

Training & Support

Winston is crate trained and potty trained. He knows sit, shake, and lay down, has mastered fetch, is learning leash skills, and is being socialized in foster care. The rescue provides trainer assessments, individualized behavior plans, group training, and socialization opportunities.

Transportation

Nationwide transport is available through the rescue’s USDA-certified transport system with 24/7 care and drop-off locations in participating states and Canada. A $87 transportation surcharge applies. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area; Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, Washington, Buffalo, New York, or Brattleboro, Vermont.
