Romy is a pretty Anatolian Shepherd who came from a hoarding case and had a slow start to life. She can be nervous in new spaces and needs time, love, and patience to acclimate. Once comfortable, Romy seeks attention, plays with toys, runs in the yard, and enjoys stealing shoes and socks.

Ideal Home

Romy needs a patient family willing to go slowly while she adjusts. A confident dog in the home is not required, but could help her acclimate through companionship and play. She is fine with cats, and children should be 12 or older because loud noises and being rushed by unfamiliar children may frighten her initially. A fenced-in yard is required.

Ongoing Health

Romy is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Romy is house-trained. She has not previously been alone without another dog in the home and will need continued patience as she learns to feel comfortable in new environments.
